Our precious daughter Tara passed away on September 6, 2012 after a 2 1/2 year fight with metastatic Melanoma. Tara and her loving husband Jon established “The Passion Foundation” in 2010 after Tara was diagnosed with Stage 3 Melanoma. The mission of the foundation is to protect children from the harmful effects of the sun, and to educate young parents about how to protect their children. The foundation raises money to erect shade structures over local grade school playgrounds.
Tara’s Mother, daughter Dana and I are dedicated to continue the work that Tara and Jon started with the Passion Foundation.
